Monument Re today releases its first set of financial results for the reporting period ending 31^stDecember 2017, with the following disclosures provided:

In the first year of operation, Monument Re has successfully completed a number of transactions and continues to be very active in the transaction space across all territories that form part of the Group strategy, namely Ireland and the Benelux regions. It is noted that while the results presented in the year end 2017 disclosures provide a detailed assessment of the financial position of Monument Re and its local subsidiaries, the results do not reflect a number of further transactions that have been signed and/or completed since the reporting period, as noted in the Group Financial Condition Report. These transactions will have a material impact on the year-end 2017 financial position of the Group.
